Ride to the Wall (RTTW). Ride Leader: Simon Johnson

Simon is planning to leave Wolviston Services mid-morning on Friday 4th October and ride to a hotel close to Woodhall Services on the M1 that will be the start of the RTTW. (Hotel details to follow and you will need to book direct with the hotel if you are staying over)

The RTTW marshalled ride will leave Woodhall Services at 08:30am on Saturday 5th October. The plan is to arrive at the Arboretum at 10:00am. The day ends around 4:30pm. Simon is planning to return home after the event finishes. (You may wish to stay over another night, so book this directly with the hotel if so)

Check The Journal for further updates, or contact Simon if you have any questions.

Teesside Classic Bike Show at Coulby Newham. Show Contact: Ashley Boal

The section is returning to the Teesside Classic Bike Show at Coulby Newham for our 3rd year, and this is a great show with some excellent bikes turning out for the day. Don’t forget to have a wander in the car park as there are excellent examples not being shown.

We would love to see some ‘new blood’ on the stand. If you would like to attend and show your classic Beemer, please contact Ashley and express your interest. It would be great to see some more classic and vintage bikes from the club supporting this event and promoting the club

Bikewise – Show contact: Ashley Boal

We will be having our stand at Bikewise as usual. It would be great to have some new faces and different bikes on the stand this year. The ideal would be to have a representation of classic-to-modern Beemer to show the club caters for all, and all are welcome. Please contact Ashley Boal, who is the co-ordinator this year, if you can help with showing your bike on the stand.

NE Section BBQ – Brad & Jenny’s House

Jenny and I look forward to welcoming you to our house for this year’s section BBQ. Please email me to let me know you are coming, and I will respond with directions to our house so our location is not open to the whole world via the World Wide Web. Please notify us of any dietary requirements. If you can bring a bottle(s), this will be much appreciated. Any gourmet BBQ cooks can also let themselves be known too.

If you would like to stay over and camp you are more than welcome. Please let me know.

Attendance over the years has diminished so it would be lovely to see you at this event.

Brad
